Golfing for Good
On May 6th, 2024 the 1st Annual Oak Harvest Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Boys & Girls Country took place with a shotgun start at 12 PM. The day was filled with fun and purpose as participants took to the green to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults. The event successfully raised over $30,000 to provide a secure, stable, Christian home environment focused on education, building healthy relationships, and setting future goals. This support has made a significant impact on the lives of those served.

About Boys & Girls Country
Founded in 1971, Boys and Girls Country is a licensed residential home for children (ages 5-18) and young adults (ages 18 – 25) based in Hockley, TX. Children come to them through private placement and stay an average of 2.5 years, but many stay longer.
Using their holistic approach, they help break the cycle of poverty and abuse for their children by providing a secure, stable, Christian home environment with an emphasis on education, building healthy relationships, and setting goals for the future.
They do this with broad-based financial support, hundreds of volunteers, and the prayers of thousands.
